Join the boat at the host port in Canada (to be confirmed) on the 2nd July before we cruise along the St Lawrence River, visiting various ports along the way. This is an opportunity to take part in a more laid back sail, enjoying the scenery and nature of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Quebec. Arriving in Quebec City on 18th July for 3 days of festivities and celebrations. This will definitely be one to remember!

Festival Days: Join Maybe Sailing on board Tall Ship Blue Clipper for a cruise in company from Charlottetown to Quebec.  Enjoy the delights of sailing the Gulf of St Lawrence and meander down the St Lawrence to Quebec.  Ports of call will be Carleton Sur Mer and Baie Comeau before arriving in the magical city of Quebec.

Charlottetown is the capital city of Prince Edward Island.  The essence of the city is the quality of life.  Situated on the beautiful Charlottetown harbour with boardwalks that stretch almost the entire southern exposure of the city. Charlottetown is a clean and safe family community, which also happens to be the centre of activity, amenities, shopping and entertainment in Prince Edward Island. Enjoy a stroll on National Historic Great George Street; sit amongst the trees on Victoria Row or shop till you drop on Queen Street.

However, all visa-exempt nationals (other than US citizens) are required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) if travelling to or through Canada by air. You need to apply online at www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/eta.asp. An eTA costs C$7 and is valid for five years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first. Note that Bulgarians and Romanians who hold a valid US non-immigration visa or have held a Canadian visa within the past 10 years can apply for an eTA. Most eTAs are authorised within minutes.

The jewel in the crown of the RDV 2017 Tall Ships Regatta is the arrival of the international fleet into Quebec along the St Lawrence River. As well as the tremendous Tall Ships thousands of visitors from across Canada and internationally will enjoy free activities, colourful crew parades and street artists performances. There will also be dinghy training and the opportunity to mix with 3000 crew members from across the world.

What is included in the price?

·         All meals and accommodation when sailing. Meals are cooked by our on board cook.
·         Breakfast and accommodation when in port (all trainees under 18 are chaperoned when in port by a crew member or liaison officer.  They will be taken to nearby catering establishments when they can acquire reasonably priced food during the port stay. This is usually 2 lunches and 2 main meals).
·         Sailing instruction and supervision by 6 experienced crew
·         Third party liability insurance cover

What is not included?

·         Travel to and from the boat
