Qualification and experience:  First went sailing on the Greater Manchester Challenge, where we did a total of 45nm on a very bumpy river Mersey but that was enough to get the sailing bug! I then managed to get on a two week trip to Holland on the sailing vessel James Cook where again it was a bumpy North Sea!. I volunteered with Ocean Youth Trust and since then I was first mate on James Cooke when I was 21 and at the age of 23 became full time skipper for over 7 years. I have been skippering with Maybe Sailing for several years.

Interests: Photography, cycling, and anything with adventure in the title and outdoors

Dislikes: Dirty fridges, fish (alive ones!!)
